Dementia and Mental Health: Understanding the Brain

During this presentation Chris will be discussing the primary function of the brain and how it controls ones body; how any injury, dementia or mental health issues can affect brain function; and identifying the lobes of the brain that control judgement, mental flexibility and emotions. Presented by Chris Petrik, RN, BS, Training Specialist, Elderwerks Educational Services.

A $20.00 fee is requested from all professionals in the field of aging prior to the date of the event. An invoice will be emailed after registration. This program awards 2.0 CE CREDITS to Illinois nurses, professional counselors, social workers and nursing home administrators. License number required.
