Elderwerks Presents: Understanding and De-Escalating Behaviors

This Dementia Capable Care course will help one identify dementia-related behaviors as communication of unmet needs. Chris will discuss approaches and strategies to create a comfortable environment for a person living with Dementia and those who work with people living with Dementia.

A $189.00 fee is requested from all professionals in the field of aging prior to the date of the event. An invoice will be emailed after registration. This program awards 4.0 CE CREDITS to Illinois nurses, professional counselors, social workers and nursing home administrators. License number required. (This is the second of two presentations provided by Elderwerks that meet IDPH requirements)
