Our agenda

1. Understanding and Navigating Grief as a Direct Care Worker with Barbara Corley. A terminal diagnosis is a heartbreaking challenge for families, but attention is rarely given to the direct care worker who may also be part of the equation. This workshop speaks directly to the DCW to educate them on how to navigate the impending loss of a caree.

2. Grief Movement with Kathy Murri. Using movement, breath and sound, Kathy will lead attendees in a transformative flow acknowledging grief, accepting the pain, and recognizing the peace. All movements can be done from a chair, with video off or on as you feel comfortable.

3. Creating Your Daily Healing and Recovery Plans with Denise Brown. Providing care takes a toll. Denise will help you create a plan to help you body, mind and soul recover from your caregiving and grieving experiences.

4. Recognizing Grief in Others with Kathy Murri. We all may grieve differently which means we may miss the grieving experience in others. Kathy will help us recognize the emotions we experience in others which could be their expressions of grief. With these insights, we can change our disconnect into a compassionate interaction.
