Live Longer, Live Smarter – Planning For Care in an Age of Medical Breakthroughs and Longer Lives

November is National Long-Term Care Awareness Month – the perfect time to have meaningful conversations about planning ahead and protecting the people and choices that matter most.

With that in mind, some scientists and medical futurists are predicting that in the next five years or less, we could experience the equivalent of three centuries of progress in predicting and preventing disease. Plus, it’s projected that human longevity could stretch toward 120, 130 – possibly 150 years. We may be living longer, healthier lives but longevity changes everything.

As a contributor and collaborator with MIT’s AgeLab and affectionately known by clients and the community as The Queen of Long-Term Care Planning & Funding, our November guest speaker will tell you this: good intentions, without a plan of care, is not enough as we and our loved ones age and unexpected crisis strikes. The consequences can be devastating and leave even the closest and loving family in chaos.

We think National Long-Term Care Awareness Month is a great time for that family conversation to learn about the many tax advantages by pre-planning and how to prepare for the longer life ahead. That’s what we’ll talk about at this Elderwerks Educational Services live webinar – how planning and funding for care before the crisis may be one of the most important steps we ever take.

Join Carol Brandt, CLTC® on Tuesday, October 27 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm to learn more. With decades of experience in long-term care planning and funding, Medicare and supplement planning, Carol will lead a thoughtful, educational and inspirational conversation you won’t want to miss.
