What is a death doula?

You’ll get 1.5 CEUs through the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois. I’d also welcome caregivers, patients, and curious participants. Please join us! Each session also includes an “Ask a Doula” Q&A at the end where I’ll answer all your questions.

As a practicing death doula and educator, I will provide information about my work and role. I will show you how death doulas reduce fears and support care teams in order for everyone to experience a more peaceful death.

Upon completion of this program, you will:

∙ Understand the general role that death doulas play in our community.

∙ Identify some of the many services that we provide and some services we do not provide.

∙ Recognize the ways that death doulas reduce end-of-life fears and anxiety.

∙ Recognize how death doulas, therapists, and others support clients in transition and their care teams.

The link will be sent out before the session begins.

The event is finished.
